As every week, Palestinians protested Israel’s illegal Jewish settlement activities after Friday prayers.
The address of this week’s demonstrations was Beit Decen and Karyut in Nablus and Kefr Kaddum in the east of Kalkiya.
Israeli forces tried to disperse the Palestinians using live and rubber bullets and tear gas grenades.
In a written statement, Murad Şitivi, Coordinator of the Popular Resistance Committees in Kefr Kaddum, stated that 10 Palestinians were injured and dozens of them were affected by tear gas when the Israeli forces intervened with rubber bullets against the demonstrators in Kefr Kaddum.
In the town of Karyut, south of Nablus, during the demonstrations, clashes broke out between the Jewish settlers under the protection of the Israeli forces and the Palestinians. One Palestinian was wounded when one of the Jewish settlers opened fire in the incident.
In Beit Decen, dozens of Palestinians, including a journalist, were suffocated by tear gas bombs.
Palestinians hold anti-settlement demonstrations every week in different parts of the West Bank. Israeli forces intervene in these demonstrations by using force.
