While the historical door of the building became unusable in the fire, the actual cost is expected to increase further depending on the material to be used during the repair.
The renovation of the building will be carried out by the Municipality and the Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs (Drac).
The historical building, built between 1772-1778 in France, was given to the municipality of Bordeaux in 1835.
