Speaking to the Iranian Students News Agency (ISNA), East Azerbaijan First Aid Agency Spokesperson Vahid Şadi gave information about the explosion in a building in Tabriz’s Manzariye district.
Şadi said, “5 people lost their lives and 2 people were injured due to the explosion in the Manzariye region of Tabriz.” said.
Noting that the explosion caused damage to many houses in the vicinity, Şadi said that search and rescue efforts continue in the dent caused by the explosion.
The Iranian official noted that investigations are ongoing as to what caused the explosion.
