51 million euros worth of drugs seized in Poland: 13 detentions

Drug traffickers were hit hard in Poland.

Polish police raided 3 synthetic drugs laboratories and warehouses in the regions of Greater Poland, Swietokrzyskie and Kuyavia-Pomerania.

In the operation held simultaneously, 5.8 tons of drugs with a market value of 51 million euros were seized, and 13 people were detained.

It has been determined that psychoactive substances called 3-CMC, 4-CMC synthetic cathinones are produced in laboratories.

While the police seized the drugs and machinery used in drug production, during the searches made in the warehouses at certain addresses, drugs such as cannabis, clefendron, mephedrone, amphetamine, cocaine and MDMA tablets, ready to be released, were seized.

While 13 people detained within the scope of the operation were sent to the court for their arrest by the Poznan Anti-Corruption and Organized Crime Prosecutor’s Office, it was stated that the number of detentions could increase.
