In the news, it was reported that the coast guard units rescued 552 irregular migrants on April 8-18, and it was noted that the majority of the people in question were Sub-Saharan Africans.
It was stated in the news that the irregular migrants caught in the “dangerous crossing” attempt made towards Europe used the methods of crossing by boat, boat and swimming.
On the other hand, it was emphasized that the irregular migrants in question were handed over to the relevant units for the initiation of the necessary procedures after their health examinations.
Due to its geographical location close to the European coasts, Morocco is among the regions that irregular migrants use as a dense transit point.
