According to national media reports, Boko Haram members attacked the town of Djibrilli in the Far North region.
6 people died in the attack, in which many people were injured.
More than 20 thousand people have died in the mass acts of violence organized by Boko Haram, which has existed in Nigeria since the early 2000s.
The organization has also been carrying out attacks in the country’s border neighbors Cameroon, Chad and Niger since 2015.
According to the International Crisis Group, since 2014, Boko Haram attacks have killed around 3,000 people in the Far North region and displaced close to 250,000 people.
