A hospital closes its emergency room in France due to lack of staff

According to the news of the French BFMTV channel, Robert-Ballanger Hospital in Aulnay-sous-Bois has changed its emergency service due to lack of personnel.

In this context, the hospital will not accept patients who come to the emergency room on its own until 08:00 local time on Monday, April 24. Patients brought to the emergency room by health or firefighters will be taken to the hospital.

The hospital will continue not to admit patients who come to the ED by their own means between 18.00-08.00 in the period of 24 April-2 May.

Doctors at Robert-Ballanger Hospital urged the management of the institution where they work to recruit additional staff without delay.
