Speaking at the National Assembly meeting of the ruling party Socialist Party of Albania (PS), of which he is the leader, Rama shared the changes they will make in the Albanian government cabinet.
Accordingly, Igli Hasani was proposed to the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs to replace the current minister, Olta Xhachka.
Hasani previously served as the Albanian Ambassador to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Vienna and the OSCE Economic and Environmental Activities Coordinator.
Albana Koçiu to replace Ogerta Manastirliu for the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu to replace Evis Kushi for the Ministry of Education and Sports, Ervin Mete to replace Delina İbrahimaj for the Ministry of Finance and Economy, Delina İbrahimaj to the Ministry of State for Entrepreneurship and Business Environment, Agriculture and Rural Anila Denaj was proposed to the Ministry of Development to replace Frida Krifca.
Prime Minister Rama also stated that the Ministry of State Service Standards will no longer exist, instead it will be the Ministry of State Responsible for Local Governments, which was proposed by the current Deputy Mayor of Tirana, Arbjan Mazniku.
Cabinet changes must be voted on in the Albanian Parliament, after approval by President Bajram Begaj. Then the ministers will take an oath to take office.
