An investigation was launched against the former soldier named Sam H. (30), who shared the video of Prime Minister De Croo shooting on Facebook, on Facebook, under the chairmanship of a judge specialized in terrorism, due to a possible terrorist attack.
According to the statement made by the Belgian Federal Prosecutor’s Office, it was noted that the Belgian ex-soldier, who recently left the army, targeted some Belgian ministers as well as De Croo in his video message.
A search was made at the home of the ex-soldier whose whereabouts are unknown. Bomb disposal teams were also sent to the scene in case there was a booby trap in the house.
It was announced that there was no information about the former soldier in the police records, and that the police started an operation to find this person.
The Belgian prosecutor’s office reported that the person wanted across the country may have left Belgium.
