Balkh Police Department Spokesperson Muhammed Asif Veziri stated that a bomb attack was carried out during the event attended by journalists at the Tibyan Cultural Center in the center of Mazar-i-Sharif.
Expressing that one person died in the attack, according to the first determinations, Veziri said that 5 people were injured.
Vizier noted that journalists were among the injured.
Eyewitnesses claimed that 3 people lost their lives and 10 people were injured in the attack.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
On the other hand, in the suicide attack in the center of Mazar-i-Sharif, undertaken by the terrorist organization DAESH, the previous day, the Governor of Belh, Mohammed Davut Muzemmil, and 2 people lost their lives.
