“The international community will not accept the rules of the exclusionary small blocs created by the G7-led West to serve the established interests of a small number of countries that are trying to divide the world over ideology and values by saying ‘America First’,” spokesman Hua said.
Criticizing the G7 leaders’ statement that they are “against attempts to unilaterally change the status quo in Taiwan”, Hua said, “The G7 constantly talks about maintaining peace in the Taiwan Strait, but does not talk about opposing Taiwan’s independence. He supports them and cooperates with them,” he said.
“The Taiwan problem must be solved by the Chinese”
Expressing that Taiwan is a part of China and that the Taiwan problem should be resolved by the Chinese, Hua said, “No one should underestimate the determination and ability of the Chinese people to protect China’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.”
He told the G7 countries to stop blaming China and look at their own history and human rights records, saying that the issues related to Hua, Hong Kong, Xinjiang and Tibet are purely China’s “internal business” and that they will not accept any outside power to interfere with them “under the pretext of human rights”. He recommended.
Emphasizing that China is an advocate for the protection of international law at sea, Hua said the situation in the East China Sea and South China Sea is “generally stable”. Hua asked the concerned countries to respect the efforts of the countries of the region to ensure peace and stability, and to stop using the problems at sea to create conflict and confrontation between the countries of the region.
“The USA is the greatest oppressive power that politicizes economic and commercial relations and uses it as a weapon”
Regarding China’s implied accusation of “using the economy as a tool of pressure”, Hua said, “With its broad unilateral sanctions and its actions to break economic ties, disrupt industry and supply chains, the United States is one of the biggest politicians that politicizes economic and commercial relations and uses it as a weapon. It is an oppressive force,” he said.
“China’s nuclear strategy is purely defensive”
Reminding that China’s nuclear strategy is purely defensive, and that it is the only country among the countries with nuclear weapons to “not be the first to use it”, Hua noted that the country will keep its nuclear capacity at the minimum level required by national security, and that its stance on this issue should not be distorted.
