As the Russia-Ukraine War continued, the United States made an interesting appeal to Russian citizens.
The US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) announced that they will hire people in Russia if they share information about their daily lives with a video published on their social media accounts.
While it was stated by the CIA officials that the Russians would provide the information they need to the USA and that the Americans care about the Russians, it was noted that the published video did not contain “evil purpose” and did not target Russian President Vladimir Putin.

In the video, it was mentioned about the pressure of the CIA officials on Russia’s dissident voices since the war, independent journalism, and the information that hundreds of thousands of Russian men sent to the front fled the war.
It was stated that those who provide information in return for information obtained from Russia will be protected, their identities will be kept confidential and their security will be ensured.
