A written statement was made from the Ministry of Education in Gaza after the Israeli attacks and the ceasefire.
In the statement, it was stated that some schools were damaged in Israel’s attacks, windows were broken as a result of shrapnel hitting buildings and nearby, and cracks appeared on the walls.
Condemning the Israeli attacks, the statement said that the targeting of schools endangered the lives of hundreds of students.
It was reported that the Ministry made great efforts with donor countries for the construction of schools in Gaza, while Israel deliberately damaged educational institutions.
On the other hand, in a written statement made by the Ministry of Agriculture in Gaza, it was reported that two buildings and a laboratory belonging to the directorates of the Ministry were severely damaged in the Israeli attacks.
In the statement, which noted that the attacks clearly violated international law, a call was made to international institutions to assume responsibility in order to end Israel’s targeting of the agricultural sector.
