According to the statement made by the Saudi Arabian Directorate of Haremeyn Affairs, Muslims flocked to the Masjid al-Haram from early hours to perform the Eid prayer in the Kaaba.
In the statement, it was stated that the Ramadan Feast prayer was held in an atmosphere full of enthusiasm and spirituality with intense participation in the Kaaba, and it was informed that there was a great interest in the Eid prayer in the same way in the Masjid an-Nabawi in Medina.
Zamzam water and sweets were offered to Muslims who were performing Eid prayers in the Kaaba by the officials of the Haremeyn Affairs Presidency.
Sheikh Salih bin Hami, one of the imams of the Kaaba, led the Eid prayer. Bin Hami, who read the eid sermon after the prayer, stated that the eid is a source of joy and emphasized the importance of brotherhood and Islamic unity.
Sheikh Abdulbari bin Avad es-Subeyti, who led the eid prayer in Masjid-i-Nabawi, drew attention to the opportunity to revive the feelings of brotherhood during the eids.
