A fire broke out in La Esperanza, a gold mine in Condesuyos province in the Arequipa region.
In the fire, 27 miners lost their lives. Search and rescue efforts continue after the incident.
Officials stated that the fire may have been caused by a short circuit and stated that the investigation is continuing.
It was shared that many police and search and rescue teams were sent to the scene and a search operation was carried out at a depth of 100 meters.
