According to the news in the Saudi Arabian official news agency SPA, Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman announced that “four special economic zones” were opened in Riyadh, Jazan, Ras al-Hayr and King Abdullah Economic City in Jeddah as strategic regions of the country. .
Bin Salman noted that the special economic zones will create investor-centered integrated logistics and industrial platforms to provide an exceptional investment experience and consolidate its position as Saudi Arabia’s gateway to the Middle East and Africa and a link between East and West markets.
Organized by the Special Economic Cities and Regions Authority in Saudi Arabia, these special economic zones are intended to represent the first phase of a long-term program, as well as attracting international companies, encouraging foreign direct investment.
