Reminding that the government has committed to reduce the smoking rate in the UK to below 5 percent by 2030, it was stated that financial incentives will be provided to help pregnant women quit smoking.
On the other hand, in the statement, it was stated that 5.4 million people smoke in the UK, and this situation continues to be the biggest cause of preventable diseases and deaths, and according to the latest data, it is estimated that 1 in 4 of all cancer-related deaths are caused by smoking.
