The tanker, which was stated to be carrying 30 cubic meters (30,000 liters) of fuel on a highway in Mexico, overturned after the driver lost control.
While there was an explosion in the vehicle due to the accident, the fuel leaking from the tanker caused a big fire on the road. The people around panicked because of the flames rising from the burning tanker after the explosion.
The 36-year-old driver, who was trapped in the truck, died in the fire.
Traffic on the highway was temporarily closed in both directions for safety reasons.
Puebla State Governor Sergio Salamon said in a statement about the accident that the fire was extinguished by firefighters and that there was no danger to the citizens.
