According to the news in the Greek media, it was stated that the country’s navy plans to procure 4 Freedom Class Coastal Combat Ships (LCS) from the US Navy after researching the second-hand market around the world.
It has also been claimed that Greece has officially requested participation in the US Navy’s new Constellation class (FFG 62) frigate program.
Equipped with powerful weapon systems such as long-range missiles, cannon and machine guns, Freedom Class Coastal Combat Ships have modern weapons, especially Harpoon missiles and RAM Close Air Defense Missile System.
