According to local media, an armed attack was carried out in the area where off-road races were held in the city of Ensenada, Baja California.
Gunmen who came to the area by minibus opened fire randomly, 10 people lost their lives and many people were injured.
While the medical teams, who were sent to the scene, intervened with the injured, the police took the area under a security cordon.
In his statement, Mayor of Ensenada Armando Ayala Robles stated that they are deeply saddened by the incident and said, “The state prosecutor’s office and the federal police are working together to provide all necessary information. Those responsible will be held accountable to justice.”
