Information was given about the people who will perform the pilgrimage from various countries hosted by the Riyadh administration, upon the instruction of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia.
It was noted that 1300 people from 90 countries who will fulfill the pilgrimage obligation will be hosted within the scope of the “Hadim’ül Haremeyn Eş-Şerifeyn’s Guests Program” organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs of Saudi Arabia.
It was stated that all procedures have been completed in coordination with the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Islamic Affairs, the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and the Saudi Arabian embassies in the said countries.
Saudi Arabian Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al al-Sheikh stated that the feature that distinguishes this year’s program of his country from previous years is that it allows “Muslims from many countries that were not included in previous programs to realize their dreams”.
A thousand people from the relatives of the Palestinian martyrs were given the opportunity of pilgrimage.
In the statement made by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs of Saudi Arabia on 10 June, it was announced that by the order of King Salman, one thousand people from the relatives of the Palestinian martyrs, wounded and prisoners who will fulfill the pilgrimage will be hosted.
Within the scope of the program, it was stated that one thousand Palestinian pilgrim candidates would also meet with the imams of Masjid al-Haram and Masjid an-Nabawi.
