An elderly woman who crossed the rails at Ban Song Train Station in Thailand’s Surat Thani province returned from the dead.
The old woman, who did not notice the train approaching the station, was saved from being under the train at the last moment thanks to the attention of the dispatcher.
Officials stated that the 75-year-old woman was partially deaf and was in good health.
In the footage recorded by the surrounding security cameras, it was seen that after the dispatcher noticed the old woman crossing the tracks, she jumped directly on the woman and took her off the tracks.
Thailand Train Management Manager Nirut Maneepan stated that the officer named Thitipong Piripol, who saved the life of the old woman, would be rewarded for his heroic act, and urged all the people to be more careful while crossing the train tracks.
