In the city of Goiania, the capital of the Brazilian state of Goias, 11-year-old Thiago Magalhaes got on the elevator with his dog.
Then, realizing that his dog’s leash was stuck outside the elevator and that the dog was about to suffocate, Thiago suddenly grabbed the pull-up leash and tried to save his dog.
The child’s effort prevented the elevator from squeezing the dog, while the dog struggled to get its head out of its leash.

In an interview with the press, the boy named Thiago stated that he felt fear and helplessness at the time of the incident, and that he took action without thinking to save his dog.
Thiago’s family, on the other hand, reported that their children and dog survived the event without any health problems.
