In the incident that took place in the historical city of Teotihuacan in the state of Mexico in the morning, a touristic hot air balloon took off and its basket caught fire.
The burning balloon flew for a while and then fell.
Teotihuacan City Civil Protection Unit announced that 2 people lost their lives and 3 people were seriously injured as a result of the accident.
2 panicked people jumped out of the basket
The injured were taken to the hospital for treatment.
According to eyewitnesses, the pilot of the balloon hung the safety rope on the ground after the basket caught fire. However, 2 people in the balloon panicked and died by jumping from the basket.

While the pilot of the balloon, who survived the accident, escaped from the scene, the security forces started an operation.
