Organized by the Islamic Union of Bosnia and Herzegovina as part of the “Ramadan Days” and attended by 1300 people, the iftar was held on the plateau by the Neretva River, which passes under the Mostar Bridge.
Nedim Hondo, one of the organizers, stated that they are happy to organize the 9th traditional iftar program.
Hondo noted that among the participants, there were young people from many cities of Bosnia and Herzegovina and neighboring countries Serbia, Montenegro and Croatia.
Another organizer, Hana Omerika, said, “We have been holding fast-breaking fasts under the Mostar Bridge for 9 years. We are happy to host fasting people from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region.”
