Vehicles belonging to the Israeli army entered Palestinian lands in the eastern part of the city of Khan Younis in the south of Gaza.
Army forces bombarded the military watchtower, which is under the control of field forces of the Ministry of Interior, in Gaza with artillery shells.
In a written statement from the Israeli army, it was reported that “an explosive device detonated near the Israeli forces carrying out military activities in the security zone on the Gaza border.”
In the statement, it was stated that after the incident, which did not cause any loss of life or injury, army tanks bombarded a point belonging to Hamas.
The Palestinian Authority has not yet made a statement on the matter.
