Israeli forces injure a Palestinian child

In the news on Palestinian state television, it was stated that Israeli forces opened fire on a 12-year-old Palestinian boy near the separation fence in the Al-Araka town, west of Jenin.

The report stated that the Palestinian boy received moderate injuries to the back.

Palestinian activist Mohammed Iyad Avad, who lives in the town of Beit Ummar in the city of Hebron, said that Israeli forces raided their town.

Noting that there was a clash between the Israeli forces and the residents of the town, Avad said that when the Israeli forces intervened with tear gas, the Palestinian youth responded by throwing stones.

Avad added that many Palestinians were affected by the tear gas.

The loss of life in the region increased with the raids of the Israeli army

Since the beginning of 2023, the Israeli army has stepped up its raid and detention operations in different parts of the occupied West Bank.

Soldiers often use live ammunition as well as rubber bullets against Palestinians protesting the raids. There are also occasional clashes between Israeli soldiers and Palestinian groups reacting to the raids, especially in areas such as Jenin and Nablus in the north of the West Bank.
