In a written statement made by the Israeli army, it was claimed that the targets belonging to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement were hit in the airstrikes on the Gaza Strip.
In the statement, it was noted that some underground rocket positions belonging to the Al-Quds Rangers, the military wing of Islamic Jihad, were targeted.
In the statement, it was also stated that attacks were made against names such as Khalid Azzam and Mohammed Abu al-Ata from the leadership of Islamic Jihad.
On the other hand, Palestinian armed groups continued to fire rockets from the Gaza Strip to Israeli settlements against the attacks on the fifth day.
Warning sirens were activated against rocket fire in Sderot and some Israeli settlements in Israel’s border region with Gaza.
