In an interview with Qatar’s official news agency QNA, Minister Sakkaf emphasized the importance of Qatar’s large investments in Jordan, which concentrates particularly in the banking and energy sectors.
Noting that intense efforts are underway to contact the relevant authorities in Doha to explore the possibility of increasing investments in Jordan, Sakkaf said that this was done through investment incentives and opportunity disclosures offered to Qatari business people.
Talking about his ministry’s efforts to make Jordan an attractive environment for investors and business people, Sakkaf noted that many initiatives have been launched, including the completion of the legal framework, such as investment laws, regulations and instructions.

Sakkaf said these are among Jordan’s ten-year plans that aim to achieve an economic growth rate of 5.5 percent and create new job opportunities for one million people.
