In a written statement from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, evaluations were made regarding the meeting between Lavrov and China’s Special Representative for Eurasian Affairs, Li Hui, which took place in Moscow today.
During the meeting, the statement shared that the Ukrainian crisis was discussed, and Lavrov expressed his gratitude for China’s balanced stance on the Ukraine crisis and praised Beijing’s readiness to play a positive role in the resolution of the crisis.
Pointing out that Lavrov criticized Ukraine and Western countries for creating obstacles to resolving the crisis, Lavrov reiterated Moscow’s commitment to finding a political and diplomatic solution to the conflict.
In the statement, it was noted that both officials expressed their readiness to further strengthen the Russian-Chinese foreign policy interaction.
