Murtaza made a written statement about the movie “Barbie”, which is scheduled to be released in Lebanon soon.
According to the statement published in the Lebanese official agency NNA, Murtaza emphasized that the US-made film does not coincide with the religious and moral values in Lebanon, it highlights homosexuality, and undermines family and marriage values.
Stating that it was concluded that the film could have negative effects especially on children and young people, Murtaza noted that the relevant decision was sent to the Lebanese Ministry of Interior to prevent the film from being screened.
