Macron shared a video of the meeting on his Twitter account.
During the meeting, Macron told Zelenskiy that it was important for him to visit Saudi Arabia before coming to the G7 Summit.
Expressing that his presence here is a unique opportunity for Zelenskiy to speak with the leaders of the G7 countries, Macron also pointed out that on this occasion, the President of Ukraine can also meet with the leaders of the southern hemisphere countries at the summit.
Pointing out that Zelenskiy’s participation in the summit could be a “game changer” for Ukraine, Macron said that France has been shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine since the beginning of the Ukraine-Russia war.
Zelenskiy thanked Macron for his support.
“France’s support for warplanes is important”
Zelenskiy, on the other hand, shared on Twitter about the meeting that “France’s support for fighter aircraft and its participation in the training mission for the training of Ukrainian pilots are important”.
Pointing out that he emphasized the priority of implementing the “Ukrainian Peace Formula” and involving as many countries as possible during the meeting, Zelenskiy stated that he also gave information about the productive visit made at the Arab League summit.
