Promising results came from the University of Hadessa research on marrow cancer in Israel.
In the research, the cancer type, which has no cure yet, was intervened with genetic engineering technology.
With the treatment, the immune system of the patients was strengthened.
The strengthened immune system also destroyed the cancerous tissue. A 90 percent improvement was seen in the study in which 74 patients participated.
The head of the department that conducted the research stated that there are 200 more patients in Israel waiting to apply the treatment.
He stated that due to the complex nature of the treatment, only one person can be included in the treatment process each week.
Experimental treatment will begin to be implemented in the USA in the coming months.
