EVKAF General Manager condemned the attack
Cyprus Foundations Administration (EVKAF) General Manager Prof. Dr. In his written statement, İbrahim Benter condemned the attack by stating that the mosque in which a Molotov cocktail attack was carried out at around 01.10 at night was the İbrahimağa Köprülü Mosque in Limassol.
Stating that there was serious damage to the mosque as a result of the attack, General Director Benter said, “It is a great chance that Muslims were not there for worship during the attack, and it is pleasing that there were no casualties in the disastrous incident. This attack on our historical mosque and our religious values by people whose identity has not yet been determined is unacceptable. We strongly condemn the incident and invite the Greek Cypriot authorities to the task to catch the attackers as soon as possible and give them the necessary punishment,” he said.
