Also, Bayramov said that Azerbaijan will open a diplomatic representation in Palestine within the year.

Palestinian Minister Maliki, on the other hand, said, “Israel continues its colonial, settler occupation project based on Apartheid regime and racism.” said.

Stating that he is waiting for Bayramov’s visit for the opening of the diplomatic representation, Maliki said, “This decision increases cooperation with the Republic of Azerbaijan in many fields such as culture, tourism, education, scientific research and development, and contributes to the strengthening of relations between the two countries in areas of common interest.” said.

Referring to the good relations between the two countries, Maliki also noted that he hoped that the diplomatic representation that Azerbaijan decided to open in his country would be raised to the level of embassy.

Maliki added that Palestine and Azerbaijan have relations based on brotherhood and friendship, and their peoples have similar historical, religious and cultural values.
