According to the Kremlin Palace statement, bilateral relations were discussed in the phone call between Putin and Mohammed bin Salman.
Emphasizing the importance of expanding the cooperation between the two countries in the field of economy, trade and energy, it was stated that they were pleased with the coordination within the framework of OPEC+, which consists of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and some non-OPEC producing countries.
During the meeting, views were exchanged on the situation in the Middle East in line with Russia and Saudi Arabia’s attempts to resolve the crises.
At the meeting, Putin congratulated the Saudi Arabian government and people on Eid al-Fitr.
