A part of the interview that Russian President Vladimir Putin gave to the state television before the Wagner tension was broadcast.
The Russian leader stated that his focus is on the operation in Ukraine and that his country is confident in realizing its plans for a “special military operation” in Ukraine. He explained the importance of the operation for himself with the words “I start the day with this, I end with this”.
Russian State Television announced that Putin will attend the meeting of the Russian Security Council next week.

The Russian Ministry of Defense also announced that the Ukrainian forces continued their attack attempts in Donetsk, and 10 attacks were repelled in Bahmut.
The escalation of the Wagner crisis in Russia
Yevgeny Prigojin, the founder of the private security company Wagner, accused the Russian army of organizing an attack on Wagner and threatened to respond, Wagner fighters left Ukraine and entered the border Rostov region.
Upon this situation, the Federal Security Service (FSB) opened a criminal case on the charge of “armed riot”.
Russian President Vladimir Putin described Wagner’s rebellion as “treason”.
Prigojin announced that they would go to Moscow, and the Kremlin administration had increased security measures in many parts of the country.
There were reports that Wagner warriors were also seen in Voronezh after Rostov.
