Military points are targeted by drone and rocket attacks
The US Department of Defense (Pentagon) announced that on March 23, 1 contracted personnel was killed and 6 contracted personnel and the US soldier were injured in the attack on the facility belonging to the anti-DAESH coalition in Syria’s Hasakah province with an Iranian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).
On the other hand, after midnight (between 03.00 and 04.30 GMT), the US forces carried out an air operation to 4 military points in total, 2 in Deir ez-Zor, 2 in Elmeyadin and 2 in Elbukemal, where Iranian-backed terrorist groups were present.
Military points belonging to the US and coalition forces operating in Syria are occasionally targeted by drones and rocket attacks departing from areas where Iran-backed foreign terrorist groups are present.
