Russia targeted civilians in eastern Ukraine.
Two people were killed and 22 injured in a missile attack by Russia on the city of Kramatorsk in eastern Ukraine.
Authorities said the missiles hit a crowded restaurant area in the city.
While some buildings were destroyed in the attack, search and rescue efforts continue in the region.
“Two missiles hit the city of Kramatorsk half an hour ago. We are currently working to determine the number of wounded and dead in the city. This is the city centre. These were public restaurants full of civilians,” said Pavel Kirilenko, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration. “They hit a restaurant, search and rescue operations are currently underway,” the statement said.
