Meloni said, “I met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the Vilnius summit. Together, we discussed how we can improve cooperation and economic relations between our countries with common interests to strengthen commitments on the southern shores of the Mediterranean. We will continue to work for a just and lasting peace.”
In the news of the Italian ANSA agency, it was stated that the meeting between Meloni and Erdogan lasted about 50 minutes, the leaders confirmed the relations between the two countries and emphasized the goal of increasing the trade volume to 30 billion euros by further improving the trade-economic relations.
