According to information received from security sources and eyewitnesses, the army has bombarded HDK positions in the Presidential Palace held by HDK forces for the first time since April with fighter jets.
HDK announced that it has surrounded the General Staff Headquarters near the Presidential Palace.
The USA, Norway and the UK called on the parties in Sudan to stop the conflict immediately.
The army held intense aerial bombardment of the HDK forces positioned near the Armored Units Command in Khartoum.
HDK points in Khartoum, known as the three capitals, and Umdurman in the west and Bahri in the north were also exposed to intense artillery fire by the army.
The Sudanese army announced that tens of HDK members were killed and 10 military vehicles were destroyed in their attacks on the HDK positions around the Armored Units Command in the south of the capital yesterday.
For a while, fierce clashes have been taking place between the two forces around the Armored Units Command, one of the strategic points in the capital.
Conflicts have been going on for more than 100 days
More than 3,000 people lost their lives, tens of thousands were injured, and nearly 4 million people were displaced in the clashes between the army and the HDK that continued for more than 100 days, especially around the capital and in the west of the country.
