Sadik Ziyaiyan, Head of the Weather Forecast Center of the Meteorology Institution in Iran, made a statement regarding the high air temperatures in the country.
Ziyaiyan noted that according to the data of the Meteorology Institute, the average air temperature in the country in the last week has been 30.3 degrees, which means that there has been a half-degree increase compared to the long-term period (30 years).
Stating that the average air temperature in the country has been measured as 30.1 degrees since June 22, Ziyaiyan said that the air temperatures have increased by one degree compared to the long-term period.
Ziyaiyan stated that the air temperature in 6 cities has already exceeded 50 degrees.
The Iranian official said that the thermometers showed 51.6 degrees in Dehloran city of Ilam province, 51.2 degrees in Umidia city of Khuzestan province, 50.8 degrees in Ahvaz, 50.3 degrees in Agajari city, 50.2 degrees in Ramhormuz city and above 50 degrees in Shush city. conveyed.
