It has been days since the boat disaster on 14 June off the Peloponnese Peninsula of Greece.

It is claimed that “official statements of immigrants have been falsified”
It is alleged that the Greek authorities falsified the official statements of the survivors of the boat disaster.

The testimonies of immigrants who survived the boat disaster were consulted. The information obtained revealed that the Greek coastguard went so far as to falsify the official statements of the survivors.
According to the claim in the joint study, the statements taken by the appointed persons from the witnesses were translated as biased. As evidence for this, the statements in the examined Greek documents were recorded as “copy-paste”.
The claim that “expressions were manipulated”
Another claim is that Greece tried to manipulate the statements.
Survivors of the disaster claim that their statements do not match the documents they have signed and claim that the Greek authorities falsified the documents.
It is also alleged that the Greek authorities pressured immigrants to portray some people as human smugglers.
The boat carrying irregular migrants capsized off the Peloponnese on 14 June.
In the disaster that took place on the boat, which is believed to contain more than 700 people, 104 people were rescued and more than 80 lifeless bodies were found.
