In the statement, it was reported that the temperature in the country’s Veracruz state reached 43 degrees and 14 people died here, 8 people in Tabasco state, 3 people each in Oaxaca, Tamaulipas and Coahuila, and 2 people in Sonora, San Luiz Potosi and Sinaloa states.
The National Meteorological Service (SMN), announcing that the nationwide heat wave is expected to last for another 10 to 15 days, recommended that chronic patients not go out at certain hours unless it is mandatory.
In Mexico, where the temperature exceeded 40 degrees, the information was shared that “the most depressing days of recent years were experienced”.
