The floods and landslides caused by the hurricane killed 438 people in Malawi, 67 people in Mozambique and 17 people in Madagascar.
The United Nations announced that the disaster affected 500,000 people negatively and 345 thousand people were displaced in Malawi alone.
While those who have lost their homes try to take shelter in makeshift camps, some areas cannot be accessed due to damage to the roads.
