French deputies discussed the bill that brings control over the commercial activities of influencers on social media platforms in the parliament.
The bill was accepted in the parliament after all 49 deputies attending the session voted “yes”.
The bill, which legally defines the activities of commercial influencers, also prohibits advertising of alcohol and aesthetic operations to influencers.
For final approval of the bill, it must also be approved by the Senate, which is the other house of the Parliament.
