The signed jerseys worn by Cisse, who was once the captain of the Senegal National Team and today the Director of the Senegal National Team, and Diouf, the former national football player, in the quarter-final match in which they were eliminated against Turkey in the 2002 World Cup, will be put up for sale at the Turkish Embassy in Dakar.
Başakşehir jersey of Senegalese football player Demba Ba, who plays in various clubs in Turkey, will be sold for the benefit of earthquake victims.
Demba Ba, who lives in France, stated that she was very upset because of the earthquakes in the video message she sent to Nur Sağman, Turkey’s Ambassador to Dakar, and wished that the jersey she donated would benefit those in need.
Last week, Kayserispor’s Senegalese forward Mame Thiam handed over the two jerseys she wore for the earthquake victims, both Kayserispor and her former club Fenerbahçe, to the Dakar Embassy.
The signed jerseys will be auctioned tomorrow at the Turkish Embassy in Dakar in the solidarity program for the benefit of earthquake victims.
