In the news in the country’s official news agency WAM, it was stated that on the 25th day of the earthquake, aid to the regions damaged by the earthquake in Syria continued.
It was stated that within the scope of the “Yiğit Süvari 2” operation, which was initiated to support earthquake victims, a total of 4 thousand 413 tons of food and medical supplies were delivered to Syria with 134 cargo planes and 10 ambulances were donated so far.
On the other hand, in the post shared on the social media account of the UAE Ministry of Defense, it was stated that a total of 5,254 tons of aid was sent to Turkey and Syria with 187 cargo planes as part of the “Yiğit Süvari 2” operation.
In line with the directives of the UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the “Yiğit Süvari 2” operation was launched on February 7 to support the victims of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria.
