The sentence of Patrick Crusius, who carried out an armed attack targeting Latino people in the city of El Paso, Texas in 2019, has been determined.
Federal Judge David Guaderrama sentenced Crusius to 90 life sentences after a two-day trial.
The 24-year-old suspect admitted to charges of “hate” and “armed assault” against him in February.
Crisus, who was also on trial for the death penalty in a separate trial in the state of Texas, rejected the “first degree murder” charge against him.
In 2019, 23 people were killed in a gun attack at the Walmart store in the Cielo Vista shopping center in the city of El Paso, Texas, USA.
