The second round of voting for the Presidential Election in Turkey begins in Portugal

The one-day voting process in the ballot boxes set up at the Lisbon Embassy of Turkey started at 08:00 local time.

Citizens who were able to vote by presenting their identity card, driver’s license or passport with a Turkish ID number, lined up in front of the Lisbon Embassy building.

After the voting process will end at 22:00 local time, the ballot papers to be placed in diplomatic bags will be sent to Turkey by diplomatic courier tomorrow.

According to the data of the Supreme Election Board, there were 1484 Turkish voters registered in Portugal, while the number of voters in the first round was 859.
